Welcome to the EFCOur MissionThe mission of the Greater New Haven Emergency Food Council is to coordinate the efforts of private agencies and to harmonize the public and private sectors in the distribution of emergency food to those in need in the greater New Haven area. Through centralized coordination, the member agencies seek to minimize duplication of services, reduce competition, and distribute limited resources equitably and efficiently. The Emergency Food Council promotes a spirit of cooperation so that all who are hungry are fed.
